Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu focuses on young women who deal with thorny day-to-day issues. The movie is based on the existing primitive Indian mindset, where men and women are judged by a different yardstick.The movie sledgehammers the message that when a woman says No, she means No.

The story revolves around three men and three women who meet at a rock. The evening ended with a bottle being smashed on Rajveer Singh’s head the nephew of an influential politician. His assailant, Meenal, is an ordinary working woman who refuses to have sex with him. The first half is a thriller while the second is a courtroom drama.

The writing by Ritesh Shah is terrific. So are the performances. Pink unveils the woman’s freedom to own her sexuality.

The new Bollywood movie Ki & Ka  is a unique love story where a woman (Kareena Kapoor) focuses on her career, while her husband (Arjun Kapoor) looks to build a home has touted to be a movie that breaks gender stereotypes.

Balki's Ka & Ki is based on a popular Hollywood comedy 'The Intern' where  Anne Hathaway heads her own eCommerce fashion company, while her husband Anders Holm is a stay-at-home father.

Arjun-Kareena sharing screen space for the first time and I think the film does justice to the chosen topic. The movie is surely worth the ticket & the role of the woman and the man are refreshingly reversed.

Bollywood Actress Jiah Khan Commits Suicide

Nafisa Khan aka Jiah Khan a British Indian actress committed suicide at her Juhu residence on Monday night. The 25 year old actress is known for her roles in  controversial Nishabd which she played opposite to Amitabh Bachchan. She also acted opposite Aamir Khan in Ghajini and Akshay Kumar in Housefull. The actress has hung herself in her Juhu house. The actress was born in England and just recently shifted to Mumbai with her mother Rabiya.

"She had been depressed for some time due to personal issues, but was keen on returning to acting soon. She was also meeting filmmakers regarding projects," sources close to the actress said.
