Susan Dimasi dressed Vidya in a Sari

Goregoeus Vidya Balan did a recent photo-shoot with Akira Isogawa and Susan Dimasi, Australia’s celebrated designers. Vidya visited Melbourne to promote the upcoming Indian Film Festival of Melbourne after receiving the Padam Shri 2014.  The festival starts on May 1st, till 11th.

She wore this chic hand weaved rubber net sari that was inspired by 18th century brocades out of the Victorian art gallery that was exhibited at the Melbourne Now art exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. Later it was draped on Vidya as a sari.

I simply love the way Vidya has carried off this look. She complemented her look with matching black metal jhumkas and cropped blouse piece. Her side swept hair complemented her ethnic look.
Akira Isogawa created a special knee length dress for Vidya that was a fusion of “Australian chic” and his own Japanese roots and is very much Vidya’s style.

Earlier for the promotions and press release she wore this summer inspired cotton printed sari designed by Debashree Samanta that she complemented with big Amrapali danglings. For her hairdo she made a high
puffed hair bun which she paired with a bold lipstick.

I simply love the way she looks? What you have to say about her latest style?

Oh La La at Cannes 2013

Vidya Balan wore her statement Sabyasachi saris and lehenga dress for the red carpet at Cannes.

Sari Queen Vidya was spotted in this traditional attire at Cannes and made her own fashion statement. No one in Bollywood can carry off sari so well as Vidya. She is Indian beauty "Personified". She can not only carry this Indian outfit well but also can make this nine yard look sexy.

Check beautiful Vidya in this red Sabyasachi Lehenga choli which she teamed up with a long choli and a contrast dupatta

Vidya Balan wore Sabyasachi Mukherjee sarees on most days of the festival. Seen here in a white and gold saree which she teamed up with a designer handbag and pearl strands.  A nicely tied bun was her statement style of the event.

Vidya has looked as graceful as ever in this traditional gold silk saree with red and sore border paired with contrast blue strands and a potli clutch bag. A full size bold nose ring was her style statement that matched well with her ethnic outfit.

I give her 3.8/5. What is your score?
