Prabal Gurung's 2013 Collection

Prabal Gurung's designs are unique and exclusive. The collection is a perfect mix of fusion style with fifties era's grace. Gurung 2013 collection showcased floor length evening dresses,  black silk duchess dresses, colorful satin wrap dresses, corset tops with light embroidery with big crystal rosettes.

His collection had a very architectural approach to each piece with an indelible mark on the work of fashion. In Gurang's own words “femininity with a bite.” was the baseline of classic 1950's elegance and his collection was inspired by that era itself. He used expressive bold colors in blue, red and yellow coats with soft-focus nudes.

Beautiful chiffon sarees and dresses along with chic blouses were the highlights. Chic jackets with slim skirt in rose embroidery were also in vogue. The designer was Gurung was born in Singapore and raised in the Kingdom of Nepal's Kathmandu. He interned at New York for Donna Karen while attending the city's prestigious Parsons School of Design where he was awarded the "Best Designer" title and soon after he launched his own brand " PRABAL GURUNG"

Karishma, Adiiti and Genelia at LFK 2013

90's super hit actress Karishma Kapoor walked the ramp in designers Vikram Phadnis Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Festive 2013 collection. Hot The Dil To Pagal Hai babe was all charged up with her designer outfit and dazzling personality. Karishma Kapoor wore this sexy gold shimmering gown that had heavily embroidered top. The fairy collection was inspired from "Ponds Gold Radiance", was for the upcoming festive season and had real gold micro particles.

On the other hand Murder 3 actress Aditi Rao Hydari looked stunning in Anita Dongre's fusion outfit. Aditi wore this fusion ethnic printed strappy top and floor length lehenga. The collection has a a mix of tribal prints, beautiful colors and chic style.

Ritiesh and Genelia Deshmukh were also spotted at Vikram’s show. Genelia wore this cute LBD that was designed by Amit Aggarwal. she paired her outfit with black strappy shoes looked chic and stylish.
