Sonam the showstopper for Rohit Bal's creation


Designer Rohit Bal displayed his outfits “The Mulmul Masquerade” on the fourth day of the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2013 in New Delhi.

The Mulmul Masquerade” collection -

The collection was had Indo - western element which also had a hint of Indian traditional and Elizabethan inspired styles. The collection had heavy saris and voluminous lehengas teamed with corsets and short cropped blouses.
The designer also showcased embroidered long dresses, hand work jackets, Kashmiri embroidery, royal gowns which had high Elizabethan collars with heavy work all over. The angrakhas, achkans were also part of the collection.
Colors in deeps red, royal blue, black, white and golden in fabrics like velvet, silks, voil and mulmul were the highlights of the collection.

Sonam Kapoor and her look -







Fashion icon Sonam Kapoor was the show stopper. She wore a white golden bridal lehenga in mulmul which featured paisley prints. She paired her designer lehenga with a sexy short backless choli and dupatta, she looked a beautiful Mughal bride.
She wore heavy gold jewelry that includes royal neck piece, maang tikka, bangles and earrings. Her makeup was quite simple with pink gloss and pink blush while her were tied in a nice traditional bun with an ethnic  pearl hair accessory.
