Indian Fashion Trends you need to know for Monsoon 2013

Monsoon season means slush and muddy water everywhere. Check out what monsoon fashion season has stored for you.

Accent like red, maroon, wine, pink, bright blue, yellow green are quite in demand this monsoon season. Light fabrics like cotton, crepe, chiffon and georgette are quite popular as they dry off quickly after getting drenched in the thick downpour. Most of the Indian women prefer wearing Salwar Suit, tights kurti or tunic with capri and sarees during monsoon. Print designs with dark accents in synthetic fabrics are the choice of most of the Indian women.

For monsoon I prefer a short tunic with tight churidar or even capri. I think it is the best for the monsoon season.Monsoon dresses in deep beige, funky red, , indigo, olive green with bold prints are in vogue for this monsoon season. Monsoon dresses in blended cotton are comfortable and are perfect for day wear. Sarees, kurtis, tunics, goes well for casual day wear look.  Kareena is looking super hot this chikan salwar kameez perfect for humid monsoon's of Mumbai.

Accessorize it well - Wear a lot of chunky jewelry, neck pieces, cocktail rings, earrings etc. Sonam  Kapoor is my inspiration as she loves to adorn her look with heavy chunky pieces that makes her outfit look chic and stylish.

Headgears, hair bands, Bobby pins, hats and scarves are also in vogue this monsoon. One can always experiment with your own creative side.
